About The Position

The Forklift Operator prepares batches, loads and unloads trucks, and maintains accurate paperwork in a productive, safe, and efficient manner. The position is based in the Plant 4 warehouse and follows a normal second-shift schedule of 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., with overtime as necessary. The listed starting rate is $22.05 per hour, plus a $1.00-per-hour shift differential.

Requirements

• Able to acquire and maintain a forklift certification.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Able to lift 55 pounds on a continuous basis.

Responsibilities

• Prepare batches.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently.
• Keep accurate documentation on all paperwork.
• Maintain and assist in product inventory control.
• Maintain and assist in keeping the warehouse clean and organized.
• Report forklift maintenance needs to the supervisor.
• Assist in keeping walkways and fire exits clear and visible.
• Follow company policies, safety rules, Standard Operating Procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices, and SQF procedures.
• Assist with other duties assigned by the supervisor and/or management.
