About The Position

At Conagra Brands’ Henning plant in Henning, Illinois, the Forklift Operator stages, maintains, and moves raw materials and finished goods throughout the warehouse. The plant produces PAM cooking spray, and the role reports to the Team Lead Warehouse. The operator uses a barcode inventory system to prepare production runs, manage warehouse inventory, and verify shipment information. The position is on the first shift, scheduled from 5:00 AM to 5:15 PM, with overtime as needed to meet production demands. The team includes approximately 200 associates.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Previous forklift experience.
Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb stairs, frequently use hands, and bend or kneel throughout the shift.
Ability to stand, walk around the facility, climb stairs or ladders, and kneel for extended periods.
Ability to perform repetitive tasks and frequently lift, push, or carry materials.

Responsibilities

Complete daily forklift inspections.
Unload and stage raw materials.
Retrieve raw materials through the barcode inventory system to prepare production runs.
Create accurate pallet tags for each pallet.
Move finished goods into warehouse inventory and ensure accurate product placement through the barcode system.
Verify shipment staging, bill accuracy, lot codes, and product information before shipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work area in support of food safety standards and OSHA requirements.
