About The Position

Ryder is hiring a Material Handler for its warehouse in Brownstown, Michigan. The role supports warehouse fulfillment and distribution, handling automotive parts in a clean, organized facility focused on safety. The position pays $21.42 per hour, with overtime pay of $32.13 per hour, and pays weekly. The first-shift schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Equipment includes an electric sit-down forklift and RF scanner. Paid training and safety gear are provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid certified Forklift Operator's License.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• One or more years of related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions that may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Perform duties within the contract's performance measurement guidelines.
• Accurately pick and pack, audit, induct totes, stage products, and load and unload trucks.
• Handle day-to-day warehouse paperwork, such as picking sheets, returns, and bills of lading.
• Provide technical and maintenance support for aspects of the automated packing system during the core production shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
