About The Position

Use of power equipment to load and unload product. Safely move, locate, relocate, stack and count product. The position involves operating forklifts, using RF scan devices, and performing physical tasks such as lifting, sitting, standing, walking, twisting, stooping, squatting, and reaching in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift license.
  • Ability to use handheld RF Scan Device.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Must be able to sit, stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to twist, stoop, squat and reach above shoulder level.
  • Ability to work in a non-climate controlled environment.
  • Follow all rules, guideline, and practices.
  • Inform supervisor / manager immediately if unsafe conduct or conditions arise.
  • Follow established Dock Safety policy.
  • Follow our Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and specific customer work instructions.

Responsibilities

  • Load and unload product using power equipment.
  • Safely move, locate, relocate, stack, and count product.
  • Perform lift inspections (electronic/paper) prior to operation.
  • Report all equipment malfunctions to manager and/or maintenance immediately.
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are error and damage free.
  • Scan product properly, ensuring it matches the item code on the product, pick lists, stocking lists, and physical product.
  • Complete all Inbound and Outbound paperwork accurately and completely.
  • Report all product damage to your supervisor/manager.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy and report all inventory discrepancies to supervisor/manager.
  • Maintain daily housekeeping of the operations building, equipment, break rooms, restrooms, smoke areas, etc.
  • Promote teamwork and assist in all areas and processes in the operation as needed/required.
