About The Position
We are hiring Forklift Operators to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. Training provided. Why Apply: $18-20 per hour plus variable pay and overtime, Advancement available, Stable work for an established, recognized, and long-standing Company.
Requirements
- Experience preferred; OSHA-certified forklift training provided
- Valid driver’s license, meets background criteria
- May regularly lift up to 20 lbs and 40-50 lbs occasionally
- Must be detail-oriented
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting pick per hour goals.
- Be dependable and reliable to work Monday through Friday for the assigned shift
- Employee must pass a background check, including a criminal and motor vehicle check, and a drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials around the warehouse and storage yard using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Load and unload inventory safely using sit-down forklifts and warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Occasional use of a pallet jack, Electric
- Occasional use of a wrapping machine
- Verify accuracy by checking SKUs, checking for damage, and updating inventory by accurately completing shipping/receiving logs, BOLs (Bills of Lading), and inventory records.
- Move Tractor-Trailers around the distribution warehouse area
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace efficiently and perform down-stocking to ensure smooth inventory flow.
