About The Position

This role involves operating a forklift in a cold atmosphere (0 degrees or less) to manage product rotation, inventory, and loading/unloading of trucks. The position requires attention to detail for paperwork, adherence to safety rules, and the ability to work independently to complete tasks. The job also involves maintaining forklift licenses and ensuring good housekeeping in the work areas.

Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• 3 months of accumulative forklift experience.
• Must have only worked at Tyson no more than three times, 180 days rehire waiting time.
• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
• Complete the task after submitting an application to provide additional information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare department paperwork.
• Keep accurate paperwork and have legible handwriting.
• Rotate and pull product by earliest dates.
• Sweep and maintain good housekeeping in areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain forklift licenses within 10 days.
• Communicate with proper personnel.
• Work in cold atmosphere 0 degrees or less.
• Work without direct supervision until job is completed.
• Lift 70 pounds.
• Work Saturdays and Sundays.
• Abide by all department safety rules.
• May be subject to rotation.
