About The Position

This role is for a Forklift Operator on the A Shift in the Sedelia Freezer. The position requires the ability to work in cold environments (0 degrees or less) and perform various tasks related to inventory management, loading/unloading, and material handling using a forklift. Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Must have 3 months of accumulative forklift experience.
• Ability to work in cold atmosphere 0 degrees or less.
• Ability to work without direct supervision until job is completed.
• Must be able to lift 70 pounds.
• Must be able to work Saturdays and Sundays.
• Must have only worked at Tyson no more than three times, 180 days rehire waiting time.
• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare department paperwork.
• Keep accurate paperwork and have legible handwriting.
• Rotate and pull product by earliest dates.
• Sweep and maintain good housekeeping in areas.
• Maintain accurate inventory.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain forklift licenses within 10 days.
• Communicate with proper personnel.
• Abide by all department safety rules.
