About The Position
The Forklift Operator operates a forklift truck to stack and retrieve supplies and materials while following the company’s Good Manufacturing Practices. The role is based at 4239 N 39th Avenue, Phoenix, Arizona, and follows a 12-hour D shift from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs. Reasonable accommodations may be made for qualified individuals with disabilities unless doing so would impose an undue hardship on the Company.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Current OSHA forklift driving certification.
Responsibilities
- Comply with corporate and plant safety standards and applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
- Load trucks and secure product according to customer requirements.
- Load and unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
- Monitor material usage on the work floor and supply production lines with raw materials.
- Weigh materials or products and record results on tags, labels, or production schedules.
- Keep production lines supplied with raw materials.
- Inventory product as needed, and label, sort, wrap, and tie product.
- Unload and stack material by raising and lowering the lifting device.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
