About The Position

Lakeside Book Company is seeking a Seasonal Weekend Forklift Operator for their Distribution Center. This role offers overtime opportunities during the summer months, with mandatory hours potentially required from June through September based on business needs. Requirements

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience
• Minimum 6 months forklift experience
• Ability to work at heights up to 30+ feet
• Proven success working in fast-paced, high-demand seasonal periods
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout duration of 8 to 10-hour shift
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Operate order picker, turret, and other forklift equipment
• Load, unload, sort, stow, and perform case pick duties
• Assist with inventory management as requested
• Other duties as assigned
• Adherence to all safety policies
