About The Position
This is a seasonal role for a Forklift Operator at the Indy North facility, expected to last through the facility's peak season. The position involves operating various forklift equipment to handle warehouse tasks. The role offers on-demand pay and a shift differential. While seasonal, the facility emphasizes a strong safety culture and provides opportunities for employee engagement and recognition.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience
- Minimum 6 months forklift experience
- Must be able to work at heights up to 30+ feet
- Proven success working in fast-paced, high-demand seasonal periods
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout duration of 8 to 10-hour shift
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal) to be able to collaborate with team members and follow direction from leadership
- Steel toe shoes required
Responsibilities
- Operate order picker, turret, and other forklift equipment
- Load, unload, sort, stow, and perform case pick duties
- Assist with inventory management as requested
- Other duties as assigned
- Adherence to all safety policies
