About The Position

R+L Carriers has an immediate need for part-time Forklift Operators at its Piedmont, South Carolina service center. The role involves safely moving various types of freight in and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long. Operators work on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 5:30 AM to 11:00 AM, on the first shift. Starting pay is $23.51 per hour.

Requirements

• Must be able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read and interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Some LTL experience.
