About The Position

R+L Carriers is hiring a part-time Forklift Operator at its Grand Rapids, Michigan service center. The role involves safely moving various types of freight into and out of enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long. The work takes place on a roofed, non-climate-controlled dock. The posted schedule is Monday through Friday, 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., with a starting rate of $24.03 per hour. PTO is available after the first 90 calendar days of employment.

Requirements

• Must be able to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Ability to read manifests.
• Ability to read and interact with a computer display.
• Forklift experience.
• Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous forklift experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Some LTL experience.
