About The Position

URGENTLY HIRING - Forklift Operator for Highly Anticipated Pro Sport CT Tournament (6/24 - 6/28). This is a featured event, the largest and most anticipated event of the season, a Signature CT PRO Golf Tournament. The role involves operating forklifts to load, unload, transport, and stack materials. You will move controls to drive gasoline- or electric-powered trucks, cars, or tractors and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas. Manual or mechanical loading/unloading of materials from various transport vehicles is required. You will also position lifting devices, signal workers, inspect product loads for accuracy, and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and auxiliary equipment.

Requirements

  • Previous supervisor experience in a related role is required.
  • Forklift certification or license.
  • Reliable Transportation
  • 6+ months of relevant experience in your applicable role
  • Authorized to Work in the U.S.
  • Ability to lift 30+ lbs and remain on your feet for extended period

Responsibilities

  • Move levers or controls that operate lifting devices, such as forklifts, lift beams with swivel-hooks, hoists, or elevating platforms, to load, unload, transport, or stack material.
  • Move controls to drive gasoline- or electric-powered trucks, cars, or tractors and transport materials between loading, processing, and storage areas.
  • Manually or mechanically load or unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
  • Position lifting devices under, over, or around loaded pallets, skids, or boxes and secure material or products for transport to designated areas.
  • Signal workers to discharge, dump, or level materials.
  • Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the warehouse or facility to ensure timely and complete delivery.
  • Weigh materials or products and record weight or other production data on tags or labels.
  • Perform routine maintenance on vehicles or auxiliary equipment, such as cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries, fueling, or replacing the liquefied-gas tank.
