About The Position

The Workforce Group, a LEMOINE company, is seeking skilled and reliable Forklift Operators to join their Emergency Response Logistics Support Reservists Cadre Team. This role supports emergency operations by safely and efficiently operating forklifts and other heavy material handling equipment to load, unload, and move supplies. This is a critical position ensuring the timely delivery and management of essential resources during disaster response efforts. These are seasonal positions and, if activated, will likely require travel on short notice, generally lasting from several days to a few weeks and possibly 30 days or more, depending on the disaster response needs. Ideal candidates will be available to deploy within 24 to 72 hours of notification.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• A valid forklift operator certification is required.
• Prior experience operating forklifts in logistics, warehouse, or emergency response settings is required.
• Flexibility to work irregular hours—such as nights, weekends, and holidays—is essential, particularly during emergency deployments.
• The position also requires the ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods.
• Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects is required.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.

Nice To Haves

• The ability to work in varied environmental conditions, including outdoor and high-pressure scenarios, is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials at designated sites.
• Assist with general logistics support including setup and breakdown of loading zones.
• Conduct safety checks and routine maintenance of forklift equipment.
• Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
• Assist with other logistics or labor duties as needed.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
