About The Position

DHL Supply Chain is hiring a Forklift Operator to move stock and products within a warehouse environment. The role involves operating forklift and other power equipment to move, pick, load, and unload products and materials. The work environment is team-oriented, fast-paced, and safety-focused. The position is on-site in Seabrook, Texas, and is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Pay is $20.00 per hour.

The operator will handle shipments of various sizes and may use stand-up, sit-down, or clamp forklifts and electric pallet jacks. The role requires following safety standards, maintaining inventory accuracy, inspecting equipment, and keeping equipment and materials orderly. A forklift operator certificate or completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment is required.

Requirements

• Previous experience with stand-up forklifts.
• Previous experience with sit-down forklifts.
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment.
• Six months of forklift operation experience.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months of warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using forklifts or other power equipment for 80% of the specified shift.
• Pull and prepare products for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of products are loaded.
• Maintain appropriate inventory records and reports.
• Comply with OSHA and MSDS standards.
• Verify load accuracy, including count, stability, and product condition, and report variances as needed.
• Change equipment batteries or LP tanks and monitor power sources as necessary.
• Keep facility equipment and materials neat, clean, and orderly.
• Assist with physical inventories.
• Complete daily equipment inspections.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
