About The Position

The Forklift Operator is primarily responsible for the daily movement of product throughout the warehouse and maintaining accurate reconciliation of product. Midwest Refrigerated Services is a full-service 3PL company providing refrigerated logistics services for the food industry, including warehouse storage, distribution, cross-docking, and value-added services. The schedule is Wednesday through Saturday, 5:00 PM to 3:00 AM. Pay is $25.00 per hour. The position requires working in a cooler maintained at 34–38°F, and may require weekend and overtime work.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating a forklift or powered pallet jacks.
• Ability to work in a cooler at 34–38°F.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Good computer aptitude and math skills.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds frequently and 80+ pounds.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime.
• Exceptional attendance record.
• Pass all pre-employment testing.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with RF-controlled inventory systems.
• Previous experience handling food products.

Responsibilities
