About The Position

ALPLA is hiring a Forklift Operator to support warehouse, shipping, and production operations at its Lima location. The role prepares finished products for shipment, follows warehouse and shipping procedures, records and stores finished goods, and handles corrugated products from receipt through storage and delivery to production. The operator is responsible for checking product condition and quantities, maintaining inventory accuracy, and keeping the warehouse clean and safe. The position requires adherence to ALPLA policies, procedures, and OSHA safety standards, as well as acting safely and in an environmentally responsible manner at all times.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in general warehousing, manufacturing, or distribution.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting and moving materials.
• Ability to perform close-vision tasks.
• Adherence to safety requirements and procedures.

Nice To Haves

• Experience operating forklift or clamp truck machinery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare finished products for shipment to customers.
• Meet quality and quantity performance standards, including checking for damage and verifying counts.
• Follow warehouse and shipping procedures.
• Accurately record and store finished goods in the warehouse.
• Handle and record corrugated products from receipt through storage and delivery to production.
• Maintain good housekeeping in the warehouse.
• Support inventory accuracy and cycle-counting targets.
• Contribute to warehouse safety and inspection performance, including accident and near-miss prevention.
• Help ensure on-time deliveries and correct shipments, including correct quantities and timing.
• Follow ALPLA policies and procedures and OSHA safety standards, and work in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
