About The Position

This is a full-time position responsible for operating forklifts, managing inventory transactions, transferring product, supporting the mixing team, and maintaining the warehouse. The role requires knowledge of various forklift operations, accurate use of scanner guns, and the ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting and dumping bags. The operator will also be responsible for organizing finished products, managing trash, and maintaining equipment.

Requirements

Knowledge of various forklift roles.
Proper use of scanner gun for material transactions.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to bend, lift, and stand on a consistent basis during the workday.
Ability to work with others and independently.
Ability to follow directions.
Basic comprehension and math skills.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts in various roles.
Use scanner gun for material transactions to ensure accurate inventory.
Pull product from WIP area and transfer to the necessary department.
Support the mixing team with daily tasks.
Lift, cut, and dump 50lb bags of product to keep ingredient silos full.
Move packed product to the finished goods area.
Properly stack and organize finished product in the warehouse.
Empty trash dumpster when necessary.
Locate raw seasoning for easy procurement.
Check forklift battery and water levels, and overall condition daily using a forklift checklist.
Fill out move sheets for product moves.
Perform other duties as assigned.
