About The Position

The primary function of a Receiving Technician is to organize and supply material resources required for production. The job tasks of this position include, but are not limited to: unloading trucks, warehouse management, inventory tracking, and delivering materials with a PIV (Powered Industrial Vehicle). This role operates on the 3rd Shift.

Requirements

  • Requires regular, in-person attendance at the facility.
  • Able to work as part of a team including but not limited to members of management, team members throughout Cardinal and vendors.
  • Able to exercise good judgement in decision making, ideas, and all aspects relating to the AMLG team, Cardinal Glass Industries, and other company relationships.
  • Able to maintain a professional appearance and conduct, exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times.
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Basic computer skills to accomplish copying, scanning, and printing documents.

  • Standing Forklift (Doosen)
  • Rico (trained personnel only)

  • Constant sitting and walking
  • Frequent bending and reaching
  • Frequent lifting, carrying and/or pushing objects weighing 50 pounds or more

Responsibilities

  • Unload trucks
  • Warehouse management
  • Inventory tracking
  • Deliver materials with a PIV
  • Operate the forklift to deliver material
  • Unpack boxes by cutting straps with a utility knife and using a hoist to bring vinyl rolls into the vinyl room
  • Manage warehouse inventory
  • Load and unload any other material arriving at the plant
  • Verbally and electronically communicate with other team members on the line to coordinate resources
  • Assist in other areas as needed
  • Accept more challenging assignments as experience and knowledge allow
