About The Position

The primary function of a Receiving Technician is to organize and supply material resources required for production. The job tasks of this position include, but are not limited to: unloading trucks, warehouse management, inventory tracking, and delivering materials with a PIV (Powered Industrial Vehicle).

Requirements

Requires regular, in-person attendance at the facility.
Able to work as part of a team including but not limited to members of management, team members throughout Cardinal and vendors.
Able to exercise good judgement in decision making, ideas, and all aspects relating to the AMLG team, Cardinal Glass Industries, and other company relationships.
Able to maintain a professional appearance and conduct, exhibiting a respectful and courteous demeanor at all times.
Lifting up to 50 lbs.
Basic computer skills to accomplish copying, scanning, and printing documents.
Ability to see within normal parameters and hear within normal range.

Responsibilities

Unload trucks
Warehouse management
Inventory tracking
Deliver materials with a PIV
Verbally and electronically communicate with other team members on the line to coordinate resources.
Operate the forklift to deliver material.
When vinyl is delivered using the forklift, the operator may need to unpack boxes by cutting straps with a utility knife and using a hoist to bring the vinyl rolls into the vinyl room.
Manage warehouse inventory.
Load and unload any other material arriving at the plant.
Assist in other areas as needed.
Accept more challenging assignments as experience and knowledge allow.
