About The Position
Seeking an experienced Forklift Operator/Material Handler to assist with daily warehouse and shop operations. The position primarily involves unloading semi-trucks, moving materials throughout the shop, and assisting with loading and unloading as needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working an early morning schedule.
Requirements
- Forklift operating experience.
- Material handling and loading/unloading experience.
- Able to work 4:00 AM–12:00 PM.
- Must be available for required overtime.
- Able to complete and handle basic paperwork.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Must comply with all PPE and safety requirements.
Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift safely to move materials throughout the shop.
- Load and unload semi-trucks.
- Receive and stage incoming materials.
- Move materials to designated areas.
- Handle simple paperwork provided by drivers and deliver it to the front office.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Wear required PPE at all times.
- Work overtime as required.
