About The Position

This role is responsible for the putaway and replenishment of all finished goods. The primary responsibilities include moving finished goods from the dock area to their storage locations, moving finished goods from storage to the picking area, and electronically transferring inventory. The role also emphasizes the careful and safe use of company equipment and ensuring the safety of oneself and co-workers.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand shipping documents and related paperwork.
• Ability to be trained to use a hand held scanner.
• Must be able to operate a pallet mover.
• Must be certified to use both a fork lift and a reach truck according to OSHA guidelines.
• Basic Math Skills

Responsibilities

• Moving finished goods received into Duquesne from the dock area to their appropriate storage locations using a pallet mover, fork lift, or a reach truck.
• Moving finished goods from their storage locations to the picking area to be used by the order processors to fill customer orders.
• Unloading cartons from pallets and filling storage racks with cartons.
• Electronically transferring inventory picked for reprocessing or replenishment from its current location into the appropriate location.
• Careful and safe use of all company equipment and property.
• Reporting any equipment problems to immediate supervisor, or the maintenance department.
• Performing duties in such a way to ensure the safety of oneself and one’s co-workers.
