About The Position

This role is responsible for putaway and replenishment of all finished goods. The Forklift Operator II will be responsible for moving finished goods received into Duquesne from the dock area to their appropriate storage locations using a pallet mover, fork lift, or a reach truck. They will also move finished goods from storage locations to the picking area for order processors and unload cartons from pallets, filling storage racks with cartons. Additionally, this role involves electronically transferring inventory picked for reprocessing or replenishment and ensuring the safe use of all company equipment, reporting any issues to supervisors or maintenance.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand shipping documents and related paperwork.
• Ability to be trained to use a hand held scanner.
• Must be able to operate a pallet mover.
• Must be certified to use both a fork lift and a reach truck according to OSHA guidelines.
• Basic Math Skills

Responsibilities

• Moving finished goods received into Duquesne from the dock area to their appropriate storage locations using a pallet mover, fork lift, or a reach truck.

• Reporting any equipment problems to immediate supervisor, or the maintenance department.
• Performing duties in such a way to ensure the safety of oneself and one’s co-workers.
