Forklift Operator II - 1st Shift

About The Position

As a Forklift Operator II at GXO, you will help provide supply chain solutions for customers by operating powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers, handling products and materials, and supporting warehouse receiving and shipping processes. The role is scheduled for the first shift, Monday through Thursday, from 5:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with a flexible schedule and possible overtime when needed. The work takes place in warehouse environments that may be hot or cold and involves physical activity, including lifting items up to 50 pounds and standing or walking for extended periods.

Requirements

At least 1 year of warehouse experience.
Training and certification in the safe operation of powered industrial lift trucks.
Availability to work a flexible schedule, with possible overtime when needed.
Ability to lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds.
Ability to sit, stand, or walk for long periods of time.
Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, push, and pull.
Ability to handle or manage tools or equipment.
Ability to tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.

Responsibilities

Operate powered industrial lift trucks and order pickers to push, pull, lift, stack, or move products, equipment, and materials.
Use a handheld scanner accurately.
Load and unload trailers as required.
