About The Position
To provide basic maintenance, repair, installation, cleaning and modification of equipment related to forklifts.
Requirements
- 3+ years Forklift repair experience
- Must be able to read and write English
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects
- Self motivated and positive attitude
- Commitment to safety and quality
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma preferred
Responsibilities
- Recognizes, investigates and reports findings on maintenance problems related to forklifts.
- Ability to troubleshoot/repair forklift/manipulator problems.
- Hydraulic- leaks, resealing of cylinders, overhaul of control valves, etc.
- Electrical- starting problems, wiring repairs, etc.
- Mechanical- engine tune ups Engine/Transmission replacement, mast repairs.
- Assign shift work and train new employees as needed.
- Obtain/order necessary parts using service manuals.
- Attend meetings to discuss equipment issues or problems.
