About The Position

At GFL (Green For Life), we are looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our team. We maintain a fleet of large vehicles, including front-loaders and equipment with high-pressure hydraulics. This role involves diagnosing and repairing complex engine problems, working with hydraulics, and utilizing advanced diagnostic tools. Requirements

Proficiency in diesel engine mechanics.
Experience with hydraulic systems.
Ability to use diagnostic tools.
Possession of a toolbox that is well-maintained.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located.

Nice To Haves

Possession of a Class A or B CDL.
Willingness to obtain CDL credentials if not already held.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair complex engine problems on a fleet of large vehicles.
Service and repair hydraulic systems, including lifters and compactors.
Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic tools to identify and resolve mechanical issues.
Collaborate with teammates in a high-energy shop environment.
Ensure the fleet is maintained to a high standard to support community services.
