About The Position

At GFL (Green For Life), we are looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our team. We work with large equipment such as front-loaders and deal with high-pressure hydraulics and significant torque. If you enjoy diagnosing and fixing complex engine problems, this is the place for you. We are the Green Team, keeping the wheels turning on a cleaner planet, and our Mechanics are essential to our operations.

Requirements

• Proficiency with diesel engines.
• Possession of a comprehensive tool collection.
• Strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes of mechanical failures.
• Valid work authorization in the country where the job is located.
• Ability to provide valid documentation confirming work eligibility prior to start date.

Nice To Haves

• Class A or B CDL.
• Experience with heavy fleet vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and fix complex engine problems on heavy fleet vehicles.
• Work with and repair hydraulic systems, including lifters and compactors.
• Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic tools to assess vehicle systems.
• Collaborate with teammates in a high-energy shop environment.
• Maintain and repair vehicles with turbos, pistons, and large hydraulic rams.
