About The Position

R+L Carriers is hiring a Forklift Mechanic at its Norwalk, Ohio Service Center. The role involves rebuilding, repairing, and maintaining forklifts, pallet jacks, and hydraulic lifts. Candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be self-motivated. Other duties may be assigned by management. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, with various shifts. The hourly pay range is $30.01 to $33.20. Employees earn one week of vacation after 90 days of employment.

Requirements

• Have a clean driving record for the past five years.
• Have three years of experience repairing or maintaining industrial fork trucks.
• Have experience repairing or maintaining electric and manual pallet jacks.
• Be able to use a computer for various tasks, including creating repair work orders.
• Have personal tools available on site; the company provides specialized tools.
• Be able to lift 100 pounds.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be self-motivated.

Nice To Haves

• Experience repairing or maintaining aerial lifts.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild, repair, and maintain forklifts.
• Repair and maintain pallet jacks and hydraulic lifts.
