About The Position

DSV is seeking a Forklift Driver to join their Solutions division in Martinsburg, USA. This full-time position involves operating forklifts and other material handling equipment to support warehouse operations, including pulling orders, preparing shipments, and loading/unloading freight. The role requires a strong commitment to safety and accuracy in all warehouse tasks.

Requirements

• Safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment (MHE) including sit down, reach truck, cherry picker, layer pick, etc.
• Daily forklift inspection sheet completed prior to operation of forklift.
• Accurately pull orders based on location, part number, batch and quantity.
• Placard, weigh, and record dimensions on appropriate paperwork.
• Over-box pallets, wrap pallets and strap pallets in preparation for shipment.
• Perform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of dock.
• Keep shipping supplies organized and communicate on supply needs.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift and other material handling equipment (MHE) including sit down, reach truck, cherry picker, layer pick, etc.
• Complete daily forklift inspection sheet prior to operation of forklift.
• Load inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers.
• Sort outbound freight based on carrier lane assignments.
• Accurately pull orders based on location, part number, batch and quantity.
• Placard, weigh, and record dimensions on appropriate paperwork.
• Over-box pallets, wrap pallets and strap pallets in preparation for shipment.
• Perform cleanup activities in the work area to ensure safety and cleanliness of dock.
• Keep shipping supplies organized and communicate on supply needs.
• Complete other duties or tasks as assigned.
