About The Position

Shearer’s Foods is hiring a Forklift Driver for a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role involves loading and unloading docked trailers, pulling and loading customer orders, receiving inbound orders, and building pallets and pallet displays. The scheduled shift is 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a weekend rotation for overtime. Weekend and overtime work may also be needed.

Requirements

• Two years of experience operating propane sit-down lifts, stand-up lifts, and reach lifts.
• Ability to maintain a fast, repetitive pace.
• Ability to lift 50 to 60 pounds as necessary.
• Simple math skills.
• Ability to work as a team player and interact with management and coworkers.
• Ability to work weekends and overtime when needed.
• Good communication skills.
• Interest in or experience with technology.
• Ability to think beyond the plan and assess situations quickly.
• High sense of integrity and ability to act with urgency.
• Drive to deliver the best result for the customer.
• Curiosity to learn.

Nice To Haves

• Prior warehouse experience.
• High-lift reach truck experience.
• WMS system experience.
