About The Position

DLP Staffing is seeking a Forklift Operator for a full-time position in Eagle Pass, TX. The role involves operating a forklift to move materials within the warehouse and to load and unload them from a loading dock. This is a non-exempt position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow instructions
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
• Must pass a background check
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test
• Must be available 7 days a week

Responsibilities

• Use a forklift to transport different materials around the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from a loading dock.
• Load and unload materials manually, off or on pallets, platforms, skids, or lifting devices.
• Perform pre- and post-inspections to ensure working forklift equipment.
• Plan and coordinate with upper management regarding loading and unloading operations.
• Keep updated records of inventory.
• Comply with company guidelines and safety policies.
• Carry 50 lbs. bags on catwalks and platforms.
