Requirements

  • Ability to arrange things or actions in a certain order or pattern according to a specific rule or set of rules (e.g., patterns of numbers, letters, words, pictures, colors and mathematical operations).
  • Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong.
  • Ability to quickly and repeatedly adjust the controls of a machine or a vehicle to exact positions.
  • Ability to self-manage time and work pace under minimal supervision while maintaining varying production requirements.
  • Physical ability to detect color of material components.
  • Physical ability to read and see details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • Must have forklift experience of 2 years or more

Responsibilities

  • Moving materials using an industrial truck (forklift, tugger, pallet jack, etc.)
  • Manually packaging materials in boxes or other shipping containers.
  • Identifies information by categorizing, estimating, and/or recognizing defference or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
  • Inspects equipment, structures, or materials to identify and meet production needs.
  • Observes, receives, and otherwise obtains information from all relevant sources.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by management.
  • Forklift drivers may be placed in picking, sequencing, replenishment, incoming/spurs, etc. as scheduling and needs demand.
