About The Position

This position is responsible for observing safety rules and policies at all times with materials and tools. The Material Handler will receive and follow instructions from team leaders and supervisors, maintain quality and time standards, and keep clean and organized work areas. They will notify supervisors of any discrepancies on prints and products, inspect and fill out forklift inspection sheets, and supply material to the router room. Responsibilities also include unloading trucks, labeling and putting away materials in a timely manner, dumping trash bins, putting away inventory, and assisting in cycle counts. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• 1 year experience in a related field.
• Must be able to use a computer and learn how to operate a scanner.
• Must be able to stand for eight (8) hours or more per day, with bending and twisting.
• Must be able to lift, push or pull up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Must be able to walk, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk and hear.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification preferred.
