About The Position

This position is responsible for observing safety rules and policies, receiving and following instructions, maintaining quality and time standards, and keeping work areas clean and organized. The role involves inspecting and filling out forklift inspection sheets, supplying materials, unloading trucks, labeling and putting away materials, dumping trash bins, putting away inventory, and assisting in cycle counts. The job is in a manufacturing environment that requires safety precautions and equipment, and involves frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts. The role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle products without damage, perform repetitive tasks with focus, and stand for extended periods with bending and twisting. Physical requirements include lifting, pushing, or pulling up to fifty pounds, and the ability to walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear. Specific vision abilities are also required.

Requirements

• One year experience in a related field.
• Must be able to use a computer and learn how to operate a scanner.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe safety rules and policies at all times with materials and tools.
• Receive and follow instructions from team leaders and supervisors.
• Maintain quality standards as well as time standards.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Notify Supervisor of any discrepancies on Prints and Products.
• Inspect and fill out forklift inspection sheet.
• Supply material to the router room.
• Unload trucks, label and put away materials in a timely manner.
• Dump trash bins.
• Put away inventory.
• Assist in cycle counts.
• Other duties as assigned.
