About The Position

Race Winning Brands is seeking a Forge Press Operator for its second-shift team in Mentor, Ohio. The operator helps move forgings through production, from forging and heat treat through finishing and shipping. Working alongside the forge crew, the operator runs equipment, assists with die setups, and prepares parts for the next stage. The role emphasizes safety, quality, customer delivery, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

At least 3 months of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to keep up with steady production demands.
Ability to stand for long periods.

Nice To Haves

Machine operator experience.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Put safety first and ensure defects are not passed along.
Work with the team to find better, faster, and smarter ways to work.
Move, position, and turn workpieces and help install dies.
Operate a band saw, snippers, lathe, mill, and laser machine as needed, including programming a lathe for roughing.
Grind, sand, and finish parts by hand to remove cracks and prepare them for the next step.
Load and unload blast units, heat treat ovens, and crates for outside heat treating and shipping.
Move product in wire baskets using a pallet jack and maintain accurate documentation.
Work with the team to meet customer expectations for quality and delivery.
Take ownership of work and look for ways to improve it.
Help maintain a safe, organized, and respectful workplace.
