The series creates meaningful touchpoints that encourage students to explore the profession, build confidence, and form authentic connections with our people. Through the progression of programs, the Symposium Series strengthens our campus presence, supports a long‑term talent pipeline, and reflects our commitment to developing the next generation of accounting professionals. About FORGE Real‑world exposure designed to encourage early career exploration. FORGE is designed for students who have completed their first year of college. Created for students in the early stages of career exploration, FORGE provides exposure to the public accounting profession along with valuable insight and networking opportunities directly with our tax, audit, and consulting professionals. Students are encouraged to build self-awareness and begin exploring potential career paths. The program emphasizes professional growth, communication skills, and relationship building, helping students gain clarity and confidence as they begin shaping their academic and career goals. FORGE participants will develop a stronger understanding of the profession and how their strengths may align with future opportunities at Sisterson. FORGE creates a natural pathway into the STEEL Summer Leadership Program, though participation is not required to be considered for STEEL. Requirements

  • Students interested in FORGE will need to formally apply for the program with a resume and letter of interest and by completing an online application at www.sisterson.com/careers
  • Upon completion of the competitive interview process, we will select qualified students.
  • Admission to the program is rolling so we encourage you to apply as soon as possible.
  • To be considered for FORGE, candidates must: hold the status of second semester freshman, at a four-year college or university by May 2026.
  • declare accounting as a major or are working with faculty to declare it by no later than your sophomore year.
  • currently hold at least a 3.0 overall GPA.
  • have availability to attend the entire program in June (approximately 9:00 am-1:00 pm).
  • have reliable transportation to and from the Pittsburgh office.
