About The Position

This is a temporary Forge Helper position focused on manufacturing products according to customer and drawing requirements. The role involves assisting with the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of die-making equipment, setting up dies and trimmers, producing test parts for inspection, monitoring quality throughout production, and maintaining a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols. The individual will also perform related tasks as directed by a supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 – 3 years of experience in manufacturing and operations is required.
• Ability to read and comprehend a variety of instructions and standard operating procedures.
• Strong analytical skills and practical problem-solving skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Working with management and making presentations will be required.
• Self-motivated and ability to work well with others.
• Must have at least 1-3 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of die-making equipment.
• Set up dies and Trimmers.
• Produce test parts for inspection prior to production.
• Monitor for quality parts thought out the production run.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.
• Perform related tasks as directed by supervisor.
