About The Position

PRT Armstrong is looking for seasonal Forest Nursery Workers to assist with cone picking work. This is a physical, fast-paced outdoor job that makes a positive environmental impact. Candidates should have a desire to learn about forest seedling nursery activities and be able to work independently and efficiently. Full training will be provided, so no specific work experience is needed.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation to get to the PRT Armstrong site daily
• Interested in and able to work in all types of outdoor environmental conditions.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks throughout an 8-hour work shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50lbs repeatedly through the entire shift.
• Appropriate work attire.
• Good manual dexterity and eyesight.
• A team-oriented personality with a positive attitude.
• A desire to learn and contribute to forest regeneration.

Responsibilities

• Supporting tree seedling production in greenhouses and outdoor areas.
