ForeScout Project Lead w/Public Trust
About The Position
TekSynap is seeking a ForeScout Project Lead to lead implementation and operations of network access control, endpoint visibility, and asset discovery capabilities across the enterprise. The role engineers, administers, and maintains ForeScout network security solutions supporting network access control and cybersecurity automation initiatives, and provides technical leadership for network security, Zero Trust, and cybersecurity modernization. The position supports planning, analysis, design, testing, implementation, troubleshooting, and operational sustainment of network security systems. It also leads technical planning, project tracking, and lifecycle management for endpoint visibility and network access control solutions, while coordinating with stakeholders and technical teams to deploy and support solutions and resolve issues. The position is onsite in Suitland, Maryland, with a Monday–Friday day schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Travel is 5%. It supports an upcoming government contract proposal and is contingent upon contract award and government approval. Candidates may be required to sign a Letter of Commitment.
Requirements
- Eight years of experience.
- Experience with ForeScout, asset discovery, endpoint visibility, and Zero Trust.
- Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments, including the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, Federal Civil agencies, or military organizations.
- Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Math, Physics, or another technically related discipline, or an additional six years of experience.
- U.S. citizenship.

- Prior experience supporting the same or a similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape.
- Security+ certification.

Responsibilities
- Administer endpoint visibility and device discovery platforms.
- Support network access control policies and enforcement.
- Assist with asset identification and inventory accuracy.
- Support Zero Trust implementation initiatives.
- Coordinate with cybersecurity and infrastructure teams.
- Perform system upgrades, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Engineer, administer, and maintain ForeScout network security solutions supporting network access control (NAC) and cybersecurity automation initiatives.
- Support the planning, analysis, design, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting of network security and operational systems.
- Develop, implement, and optimize network access control policies, configurations, and security enforcement mechanisms.
- Perform requirements analysis, system assessments, integration activities, and performance tuning for network security platforms.
- Lead technical planning, project tracking, and lifecycle management activities for endpoint visibility and network access control solutions.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, standard operating procedures, and system design artifacts.
- Interface with stakeholders and technical teams to support solution deployment, operational support, and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards, policies, and organizational security requirements.
- Support system acquisition, installation, configuration, maintenance, and operational sustainment activities.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance for network security, Zero Trust, and cybersecurity modernization initiatives.
