Requirements

Completion of the tenth school grade; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Must meet the PA residency requirement.
Must be able to perform essential job functions.
A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination and drug screening.
Under the Older Adult Protective Services Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.

Responsibilities

Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, oral hygiene, hair care, and dressing
Help with non-professional nursing tasks such as taking temperature and collecting urine specimens
Perform regular rounds to ensure a safe and secure environment for patients and staff
Record observations clearly and share important information during shift report
Follow established rules when escorting patients, screening visitors, and monitoring facility areas
Work respectfully with staff and participate in training to develop skills
