About The Position

Main Line Health is seeking a Forensic Nurse Examiner Coordinator to lead their SANE Program. This role involves coordinating all activities of the Forensic Nurse Examiners (FNE) Program, including program development, implementation, and evaluation. The coordinator will be responsible for the recruitment, hiring, and orientation of FNE applicants. They will also update curriculum to ensure current practices in the SANE field and improve the quality of care for victims of violent crimes through direct and indirect patient care, education, consultation, protocol development, interdisciplinary collaboration, and research. Requirements

  • Two years of clinical forensic nursing experience.
  • Demonstrated competency in trauma-informed care, emergency nursing or women's health.
  • PA RN license OR a multi-state license verified in one of the approved states through the Nursing Licensure Compact.
  • SANE-A (Adult) certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Active participation in forensic nursing practice.
  • Provider BLS/ALS (American Heart Assoc/American Red Cross) preferred at time of hire/start date.
  • SANE -B (Pediatric) preferred.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities
