The Foreman will be responsible for supervising trade employees assigned to a particular construction discipline or work area.

Requirements

Carpenter Journeyperson trade certification
8+ years of construction experience
Experience working under the Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) model
The ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints and communicate this information to others
Excellent communication, organizational and supervisory skills are essential.
Conflict resolution
The capability to work outside in extreme weather conditions depending on the season
Technologically proficient, with the ability to use multiple software systems and platforms.
Proficient in Procore construction management software.

Nice To Haves

Valid first aid certificate an asset
Valid ESC Fall Protection, CSTS 2020 and WHMIS 2015 is an asset

Responsibilities

Assist in planning work schedule(s) and determining and maintaining workforce requirements, material quantities, equipment requirements, etc.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with Clark Builders safety policies and procedures
Identify hazards and correct any unsafe conditions
Lead QA/QC checks and inspections
Lead site specific orientations and tailgate meetings
Draft and submit RFI’s
Assume control of the site if the Superintendent is off site
Other duties as required
Represent Clark Builders in a professional and respectful manner
Adhere to Clark Builders policies and procedures.
