About The Position

Cowlitz Clean Sweep (CCS), a division of Pacific Northern Environmental LLC, is seeking a Foreman to join their team. This role involves assisting the Department Manager with pre-field duties, customer communication, completing daily project paperwork, and supporting on-site teams. Pacific Northern Environmental, LLC operates across multiple states and specializes in various construction, electrical, industrial cleaning, and waste disposal services. CCS specifically focuses on industrial cleaning and spill response for pulp and paper mills, oil companies, and other industrial clients in the Pacific Northwest, known for handling large and complex cleaning challenges efficiently and safely.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • Must be able to be insured under company insurance program
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • 3-5 years of successful experience in field management and managing projects as well as managing health and safety for mobile workforce.
  • Experience in bulk disposal and hazardous waste handling.
  • 1-year minimum supervisory experience
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills required.
  • Ability to manage projects within budget while continually identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability.
  • Comfortable interfacing with clients to maintain, grow, and strengthen business relationships.
  • Maintain respirator fit test and be clean shaven.

Nice To Haves

  • CDL A with Tanker Endorsement and ability to drive manual commercial vehicle preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in confined space entry and rescue preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinating work according to priorities and plans.
  • Safely operate and maintain company vehicles as required for job duties, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Producing scheduled and monitor attendance of crew.
  • Allocating general and daily responsibilities.
  • Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met.
  • Monitor expenditure and projects to ensure the remain within budget.
  • Resolve conflicts or miscommunications quickly and amicably when they arise.
  • Assist department manager in duties, such as but not limited to scheduling, estimates and bidding, daily safety and customer paperwork, complete and submit change orders, team management, safety, inventory etc.
  • Provide exceptional professionalism and customer service.
  • Other duties as assigned.
