About The Position

The Foreman supervises and performs the daily operations of the wastewater treatment process and laboratory testing and oversees the daily compliance sampling.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in operations of municipal wastewater treatment plants and process control test procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Possession of a valid Class C Texas driver's license or higher required.
• Must be able to lift weights of 50 pounds and 100 pounds with assistance.
• Knowledge of operation, maintenance and repair of pumps and control systems of a wastewater treatment facility.
• Knowledge of City of Conroe policies and procedures.
• Skills in conducting laboratory process control testing.
• Skill in communicating well with supervisors, subordinates and public.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and reports to remain in compliance with the discharge permit.

Nice To Haves

• Possession of Class B CDL is preferred or ability to obtain one.
• Must be able to obtain a Class "B" Wastewater Certification within 18 months of hire.
