About The Position
The Foreman supervises and performs the daily operations of the wastewater treatment process and laboratory testing and oversees the daily compliance sampling.
Requirements
- Minimum of five years of experience in operations of municipal wastewater treatment plants and process control test procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Possession of a Class C Texas driver's license or higher required.
- Must be able to obtain a Class "B" Wastewater Certification within 18 months of hire.
- Must be able to lift weights of 50 pounds and 100 pounds with assistance.
- Knowledge of City of Conroe policies and procedures.
- Skill in communicating well with supervisors, subordinates and public.
Nice To Haves
- Possession of a Class B CDL is preferred or ability to obtain one.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and performs the daily operations of the wastewater treatment process and laboratory testing.
- Oversees the daily compliance sampling.
- Operates, maintains, and repairs pumps and control systems of a wastewater treatment facility.
- Conducts laboratory process control testing.
- Maintains accurate records and reports to remain in compliance with the discharge permit.
