About The Position

The Foreman Electrician is a field leader responsible for overseeing and executing electrical work while supervising electricians, apprentices, and helpers in the field. This role ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with electrical codes, company standards, and customer expectations. Working closely with project managers, service managers, and internal departments, the Foreman Electrician coordinates manpower, materials, and daily work activities while maintaining productivity, quality, and strong communication between the job site and office teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of electrical field experience required.
  • Journeyman electrician license preferred.
  • Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, troubleshooting, and code compliance.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage crews and prioritize work in a fast-paced field environment.
  • Valid driver’s license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Journeyman electrician license preferred.
  • Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise electricians, apprentices, and helpers while assigning daily tasks and ensuring quality workmanship.
  • Plan and coordinate daily work activities to ensure electrical projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and job documentation to guide field installation.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with applicable codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Coordinate tools, materials, and equipment to ensure crews have the resources needed to complete assigned tasks.
  • Communicate with project managers, customers, inspectors, and other trades to maintain alignment and resolve issues.
  • Monitor job progress, track field activities, and report job status or potential delays to management.
  • Conduct job site walkthroughs and quality checks to ensure installations meet company and code requirements.
  • Promote a strong safety culture by enforcing safety policies and conducting regular safety discussions.
  • Provide mentorship and training to apprentices and team members to support skill development and productivity.
