Business area Mining is a global leading supplier of equipment and tools, parts, service, digital solutions and sustainability-driving technologies for the mining and construction industries. Applications include rock drilling, rock cutting, loading and hauling, tunneling and quarrying. This role supports day-to-day FTZ operations, ensures data and documentation accuracy, and partners across Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance/Tax, IT, and Compliance.

Requirements

  • Associate or Bachelors degree in business or 4 years equivalent experience in business, supply chain, logistics, international business or warehousing
  • Additional 2 to 5 years experience in Foreign Trade Zone operations, customs compliance, imports/exports
  • Familiarity with CBP filings (HTS/ECCN)
  • U.S. Customs Broker License
  • CCS certification or NAFTZ FTZ training
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Manufacturing or logistics experience
  • Ability to follow structured regulatory procedures
  • Intermediate Excel and strong MS Office skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication skills
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. and ability to pass background checks required for CBP/FTZ access

Responsibilities

  • Support FTZ admissions (e214), weekly entry summaries, and zone-status changes
  • Maintain accurate product master data (HTS/ECCN, COO, UOM, descriptions)
  • Ensure inventory movements are captured correctly in ERP and FTZ systems
  • Support cycle counts, inventory reconciliation, and variance resolution
  • Maintain audit-ready records and assist with CBP filings (CF 214, 216, 7512, 7501)
  • Partner with brokers, consultants, and CBP officials as needed
  • Follow and help refine FTZ as well as overall operations SOPs, contributing to continuous improvement in all areas/departments
  • Work closely with outbound planner to ensure compliance on all outbound shipments
  • Work closely with receiving to make sure CF 214 are accurate and submitted on time
  • Train staff on FTZ compliance and operational procedures and any changes that are made in the future
  • Stay up to date with any changes in regulations and FTZ best practices
