Requirements
- Active certification as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) as issued by the Commission on Dietetic Registration of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, or proof of eligibility for such certification.
- Meet the PA residency requirement.
- Be able to perform essential job functions.
- Satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
Responsibilities
- Complete nutritional assessments and record information in medical records
- Develop, review, and adjust dietary plans based on clinical standards and patient needs
- Share recommendations with treatment teams and contribute to staff training sessions
- Evaluate menus, ensure diet accuracy, and update patient diet information
- Support performance improvement efforts related to diet accuracy and nutrition outcomes
- Attend continuing education sessions and assist with department projects
