About The Position
The Trade Intelligence Intern will support digital transformation initiatives within the Foreign Trade department through the development of data-driven solutions, automation tools, and databases to enhance visibility, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic knowledge of databases and data management.
- Knowledge of Power BI.
- Interest in business intelligence, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and automation.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of SQL, Python, Power Automate, or similar tools is preferred.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, and/or knowledge of foreign trade, customs, or supply chain processes is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Support import and customs operations by coordinating with customs brokers and internal stakeholders.
- Assist in the creation of Power BI dashboards and reports to monitor trade operations, tariffs, compliance metrics, and business KPIs.
- Participate in data collection, cleansing, validation, and integration activities from multiple sources.
- Assist in developing analytical models to identify trends, risks, and opportunities within foreign trade operations.
- Support automation initiatives through Power Automate, RPA solutions, and other digital tools.
- Assist in the preparation of executive reports and presentations based on data-driven insights.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
