About The Position

We are a professional staffing firm, working with organizations across the country to place exceptional candidates. Currently, we have a Foreclosure Manager opportunity with a leading financial services and mortgage solutions provider. This role offers an engaging environment to apply specialized legal and operational expertise in a high-impact, collaborative setting. The Foreclosure Manager is responsible for the specific duties listed below. Your specific duties will include: Provide senior-level oversight and guidance for foreclosure matters throughout the entire lifecycle. Review complex, high-risk, or escalated foreclosure files—including legal filings, title information, and servicing records—to determine appropriate next steps. Identify legal, regulatory, and operational risks, exercising independent judgment to resolve exceptions, delays, and contested matters. Recommend strategies for resolving complex servicing issues while ensuring compliance with federal, state, investor, and insurer requirements. Coordinate with internal stakeholders and monitor outside counsel, trustees, and vendors for performance and adherence to timelines. Recommend operational improvements to foreclosure processes and assist with resolving audit findings or compliance concerns. Prepare clear analyses and status reports, and participate in meetings with business leaders and legal partners regarding sensitive matters. Support special foreclosure initiatives and maintain strict confidentiality of borrower, legal, and financial information.

Requirements

  • Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Substantial experience with foreclosure, mortgage/default servicing, or creditor's rights, including a strong understanding of the foreclosure lifecycle.
  • Proven experience evaluating complex foreclosure matters, interpreting legal/title documents, and recommending appropriate resolutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment on matters of significance.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working directly for a mortgage servicer or default servicing organization.
  • Direct experience managing outside counsel and foreclosure vendors.
  • In-depth knowledge of investor, insurer, and regulatory guidelines.
